Description
Apricots are full of beta-carotene and fiber, necessary for a summer full of energy. Closely related to peaches, apricots are small, golden orange fruits, with velvety skin and flesh; they don’t feel juicy to the to the taste, however they retain a great deal of sweetness. Some might say their taste has a faint tartness that lies somewhere between a peach and a plum. One of the most widely grown apple varieties in the world, and a mainstay of the supermarket apple selection, these beautiful, orange fruits are a welcome addition to any diet.
